Thank you (for the vegetables)

Crafty Creations and Alphabet Challenge

I’m so glad to have neighbor’s that we get along with and are even friends with. I corrupted our neighbor Kim and brought her into the world of scrapbooking. She has spoiled me with fresh vegetables from their garden! She just brought over 2 fresh Zucchini’s so I thought I would use these awesome vegetable digital stamps and make her a thank you card. The best part is the vegetables were already cut out as we made them for VBS but they ended up not using them.

1) July – Use your Scraps @ – 85% of your project must be made from scraps.

Everything is a scrap except for the green card base. Got to love when you can pull everything out of a scrap drawer!

2) Alphabet Challenge Blog – Our challenge for you this week is  H for Half a Dozen.  Please use 6 of the same thing on your work.

I like this card a lot better for the challenge as you can see the 6 brads clearly!

3) Crafty Creations Challenge #125 (CCCW125) – Thank You cards.

Christmas in June!

Snowman Cheer for Clear Dollar Stamps

This card was fun to make!! Which was good cause I thought I lost my mojo yesterday!! Ever have those days where you have the time but the creative juices went down the drain? So glad they are back today!

The snowman was printed on white and then cut out in a circle. I then printed the snowman on tan, brown and orange. I then cut out each piece I needed in that color and glued it on the base snowman. I added a ripped apart cotton ball to give it the image of real snow.

1) Alphabet Challenge Blog – H for half a dozen – Our challenge for you this week is  H for Half a Dozen.  Please use 6 of the same thing on your work.

There are 6 snowflakes (the ones on top were cut off so they are pieces of a snowflake).

2) Christmas Challenges (with Sketches) – Challenge #3 – make a Christmas or winter card using the sketch provide. Go to this link to see the cool sketch.

3) Creative Craft World – Crazy Card Challenge – Christmas in June! For this challenge at Creative Craft World we are challenging you to make a start on those Christmas cards and celebrate with us …. ‘Christmas in June’

4) For Fun Challenges – We are doing a challenge for Christmas. We want you to get making all the beautiful cards you send to friends and family

5) Daring Cardmakers –  “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue”.  So use some old and new stash and if you can include the borrowed and blue as well that would be awesome.

I used old paper from my stash, old punch from my stash, new digital stamp to me (just got it), something blue is in the paper, and something borrowed is the sketch inspiration from the Christmas Challenges (with Sketches).

6) Day 122 @ 365 Cards – Feeling Fuzzy! Pam loves cards that have a little added texture to them – just that little something that makes them extra special. This challenge is about giving some element of your card a “fuzzy” feel to it.  Just a little bit (or a lot, if you prefer!)
