Baby Dedication

Clear Dollar Stamps

This was one of the first cards that was requested as part of the Card Ministry at the church I go to. The idea of the church ministry is to make cards so the church can mail out the cards when needed. We just had a baby dedication a couple weeks ago so they were wanting to give the parents cards for the event. I made a set for boys and a set for girls.

Inside is a poem from Heavens Inspirations  She has some amazing poetry and will be using this site in the future.

For Fun Challenge - Anniversary (but no bells or wedding cakes)

Metal plate says “my heart belongs to you”

The challenge this week at For Fun Challenges is to make an Anniversary card WITHOUT using bells or wedding cakes!! That was sooo easy with the awesome digital stamps that  The Paper Shelter provided us with.  The stamp I used is called Love in Venice and comes in outlines or a pre-colored stamp. I used the pre-colored stamp as I have come down with a terrible cold and haven’t even felt like entering my scrap room. Yes, I’m sick! Plus pre-colored stamps take the work out of it and all I had to do is find pretty paper and design the card. Got to love EASY!

Hope you will come play with us at For Fun Challenges as The Paper Shelter is offering a $20 gift certificate to the TPS shop to a random drawn winner. If you get a chance check out their store they have some really cute stamps and digital papers.

If you want to see the other awesome stamps we got to play with check out the other projects made by Design Team Members at For Fun Challenges.

2) Sweet Sketch Wednesday – Sketch 119– Use the sketch provided. I didn’t get this done in time but the sketch did inspire the card.

3) My partner in Crafting Crime Challenge #31 – The theme for this one is  TRAINS, PLANES, and AUTOMOBILES. and since we are just starting back we will keep it easy and allow any mode of transport!!

How about a boat!?! It’s a mode of transportation so I figured it worked!

4) Alphabet Challenge Blog -Q for Quick and Simple.  Our challenge for you this fortnight is Q for Quick and Simple.   Sometimes we want, or need, to make something quickly without a lot of fussing and embellishing.  So,  we would like to see work this week that hasn’t taken you hours to create with lots of embellishments etc, it can be literally a few minutes!

This card was easy! Printed the image on cream paper and cut into a square. Cut the patterned paper into squares. Added the heart, rick rack and metal plate from Making Memories.

5) Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #129 – Just Sayin! For this weeks challenge you will create a card with some sort of sentiment/words on the front! Super easy one this week! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

6) Totally Paper Crafts Challenge #84 – Clean and Simple. As stated above this card was easy and simple.

Time for some glitter!

Clear Dollar Stamps -Snowman Cheer

It’s the third Friday of the  month so time for another challenge at Clearly Inspired Challenge. Today’s challenge is to use glitter! I don’t use it a lot but some cards it just works perfectly on. On this card I used stickles on the snowflakes. Not a lot of glitter but it is there! If you play in the challenge you have a chance of winning  a $10 gift certificate for stamps or digis up for grabs. And you will also have a chance to win the Featured Digi for September. Super cute Featured Digi this month you must check it out – Sentimental Ewe Digital Stamp.

I’m so bummed!! With all my craziness going on this week I forgot to send my card in so it didn’t make the blog! Oh well, guess I will just post it down below!

This is another card I will teach at the Card Class next Friday in Springfield, MO!

1) Clearly Inspired Challenge #36 (CIC36)  – Use glitter. A little or a lot doesn’t matter as long as it is on the card somewhere.

2) Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #146  (TESC146) – Use the sketch. I just love her sketches. I’m sure you can tell since I do almost everyone! And I won the prize from the last challenge! I know so exciting.

Halloween and Fall at Clear Dollar Stamps

Well, at least that is what I’m showing today for the Digital Stamps released TODAY at Clear Dollar Stamps!!

Clear Dollar Stamp - Sweet and Spicy Digital stamp

*Click on image to get larger picture*

Oh you have to see the WHOLE set, Sweet and Spicy. Totally cute and can be used in so many different ways. I was so glad DeeDee had a plain apple in there as that can be used for several different types of cards. Then she goes and puts these super sweet sentiment in there and I was sold on having to make it!! And it was perfect for the “Friendship” challenge at Stamps R Us.

1) Stamps R Us Challenge Blog – Friendship

2) Card of the Week @ –  A Tri-fold card was the card to try to make for the week of Sept 4th. She doesn’t care when you get it done as long as you try new card styles and have fun!

Clear Dollar Stamps - Autumn Friends Colored Image

This is the Autumn Friends Colored Digital stamp that was released TODAY! I decided to make a treat bucket and tag instead of a card with this image. Super easy to do. I printed out the image. Ran it through my xyron sticker maker. Add a little extra double sided tape on the edges since it is on a curved image. Rubber band it together for a day or so and there you have a cute little bucket. Oh and the bucket was $1 at TARGET. Got to love that!

I made a couple extras using the Bitty Bat Pumpkin Colored Digital Stamp.
