For the bride and groom

Bride & Groom

Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps) is sponsoring the Twist of Faith Challenge #17 – White and Gold Only. So come over and play as the random prize winner will receive a $15 voucher for use at the Clearly Digi Stamps store.

I try to play along in challenges that CDS sponsors which sometimes is a challenge….as this one proved to be. I didn’t want to make a Christmas card so trying to fit white and gold only can be tricky. I do like that I was pushed out of my comfort zone because I like how the card turned out.  I used The Deconstructed Sketch #81 which was a tag sketch that I modified to fit a card.

Hope you will come play with us.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing….

Hark the Harold Angels

Hark Angels Sing

My good friend Judy loves Angels and that is what her Christmas tree decorations are done in. So I wanted to make her a special card for her. The first card was made for her and she should be getting it this week. I had some supplies left over so I decided to make one of the ladies at the retirement home a Christmas card. She is dear to me and an angel in my life so I thought these images were also fitting for her.

So Linda made the theme easy this month….Anything Christmas!!  I actually had product from last year when I tried to make a card and I didn’t end up liking the card that much. So I pulled out all the product I had cut or left over from it and decided to make new cards this year. So I came up with two different versions of the card. One uses a slightly bigger circle of Santa then the other.

I believe with bow

I believe

And this stocking was also printed out last year but never made anything with it. So I decided to use it up and make a circle card.

Stocking - round

December Digital Release Day!

Finally it’s digital stamp release day at Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps)!! I couldn’t wait to show you what I got to play with and what I made. I was really happy with these cards. I guess taking a break and making scrapbook pages helped get the creative juices flowing again.

The first card I made was using the digital stamp Flower Garden – color version.

Flowers - thinking of you

I printed the flowers and cut them out. Then I ran them through the Xyron “x” sticker maker. I embossed a line on the card and printed the sentiment right on the white piece. Place the “flower stickers” and the card was done! Easy peesy!! And I love how it turned out.

1) Dec Card Challenge @ – sketch category.

2) CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #82 (CFC82) – Create a CAS project that features scoring… and no, the fold on your card does not count *wink*

The 2nd card I used the digital stamp Princesses – color version.

If crown fits

I can’t wait for more time to craft because I have several more ideals planned for this digital stamp set!! I used Mojo Monday #248 Sketch for my inspiration.

Home with a Christmas Theme – like a house, birdhouse, etc..

Gingerbread House

This was such a fun challenges for me because it was different! I’m not sure I have seen a Christmas Challenge before that required a “house” on the project. Which I have bought paper in the past to make a Christmas cards with a home on it but STILL haven’t made them. This one I made unexpected when a friend came over to “play” for a couple hours. She brought over a cute 6 x 6 paper pad and asked if I would want to make a card using some of the paper. This card came to me very quickly which doesn’t always happen so I was very excited. I cut up enough pieces so she could make one too!  Thanks Judy for the paper!!

I hope you will take the challenge of having a “home” on your Christmas project and play with us at For Fun Challenges!!

**NOTE** Please stop by THIS Sunday, 12/16/2012, as I will be part of the Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps) Blog Hop!!

Happy Birthday sketch

Today’s challenge at Clearly iStamp is to use the sketch provided as your inspiration. I used Word Doodles Digital Image from Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps) and paired it with the patterned paper that comes in the December Challenge Digi – Say Thank You.

This was the perfect inspiration I needed for a masculine birthday card I had to make for a gentlemen at church that placed an order for cards.
