I have made 3 out of 5 sketches for the Card Sketch Challenge @ Scrapbook.com so I wanted to try to make the last 2 sketches. I used scraps that I had left over from making Father’s Day cards with this paper a couple years ago. The scraps were perfect for this design.
1) May Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – Sketch #1 – The sketch was from Cardmaps June 2009
2) Simply Create Too Challenge #62 – Father’s Day or Masculine
Cardstock: Bazzill (Java, (blue discontinued)
Patterned Paper: The Paper Loft (Hooked on Fishing)
Accents/Tools: twine, hole punch, corner punch
This 2nd card I made for a guy at church that orders my cards. His grandson is turning 14 and is into playing the xbox so I went with that theme. I then made an extra one and made it a Happy Father’s Day Card. This card takes time since it is paper pieced so I only made 1 extra and will make this only when requested.
Have a fantastic day filled with all the things you enjoy the most. Happy Birthday! (or Happy Father’s Day)
) Sweet Stamps Blog Challenge #171 – No designer paper
