Cow Fathers Day

So one of the girls at work needed 3 Father’s Day Cards. This dad she said like cows and was a farmer so I said I can do that! When trying to figure how to make it Father’s Day card my husband came up with the inside sentiment “Milk it for all it’s worth!” I loved the saying and so did the lady at work.

I think I might make this into a birthday card by tying balloons to it’s tail!

Chillin & Grillin

And her other dad likes to grill. I made a card for him about three years ago but this is a completely different image and feel to the card. I found Team Dad by Echo Park at my local scrapbooking store and thought it would be perfect for several cards. I ended up messing up one of the cards so I cut the grill out of it so I could pop dot it on top of the original image.

Balloons at the Beach

Beach w Balloons

So I saw a photo that had balloons in the forefront of the photo and the beach in the background. The nurse liked the photo and wanted something similar for one of her employees birthdays and this is how my version was born. I used the beach background and the wood post digital stamps from Diane’s Daydreams Designs (no longer in business) and made this scene. I punched balloons from my Martha Stewart Balloon punch and tied them on with black string. I printed the background scene a couple times so I could pop up the sand and clouds to give it dimension.

13th Anniversary Sage

A lady at work requested a Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary for her daughter and son-in-law. She said one of their weddings colors was Sage. I used lace because that was the traditional gift for the 13th anniversary.

A lady needed a birthday card for someone in their early 20’s so I made a couple up and also showed her ones I had on hand so she could pick. She didn’t pick these but that’s okay because I now have birthday cards on hand!! I was also inspired by the wood stars we found at an estate sale (see attached photo). They were 1/2 off the price they were marked so I got them for .50 cents!! I also got a bag of hearts!! Awesome find!!
