She loves it so that is good! I used Sketch #4 from the October Card Sketch Challenge.

bats, chipboard, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, embossing, Halloween birthday, Halloween card, mummy, October 31st

I went to the retirement home to see if any of the ladies needed Halloween cards. One of them needed a Halloween Birthday card for her grown grandson. She still wanted it to be Halloween themed.
I got out my Halloween supplies and found this mummy from an old pack of chipboard stickers (6 years old) …there was no stick left to them anymore!!! I found KI Memories (spooky) die cut embellishment that was basically a big purple square with a green small square in corner. Well I didn’t want purple for a boy so I took the ideal and made it in colors I liked. Embossed the background with Cuttlebug Happy Birthday so it tied in the birthday part. I did learn I need a new Birthday embossing folder that is bigger and maybe no flowers (even though these are mostly abstract). I used the sketch #3 in the October Card Sketch Challenge. The original sketch can be found here http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2016/05/case-this-sketch-171.html
CHALLENGES:
1) October Card Sketch Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – sketch #3
2) October Inspirational Card Challenge – photo inspirational category – went with theme Halloween
SUPPLIES:
Chipboard stickers – Cosmo Cricket (Matilda 2010)
Bat Rain Dots – Cloud9 Designs (Happy Halloween Bats)

Halloween, Miss Kate Cuttables
cauldron, food, funny, funny Halloween, halloween, happy halloween, Miss Kate Cuttables, witch

Inside: It’s All Organic!!!
As I was searching for sayings and inspiration on Halloween I came across this saying and cracked up. This is sooo my best friend!! She is into oils, home remedies, etc. (and I am sooo NOT) so I knew I had to send this to her!!! She isn’t into Halloween but I think it will make her laugh. I love Halloween….what is better than acting like a kid, being silly, dressing up and eating candy!! I don’t do the dark Halloween….I like the fun cutesy side of Halloween. That’s why I kept this card fun, bright, cutesy Halloween even though there is a cauldron. And she will be shocked there is a bow as I don’t do many bows. But when I saw this sketch with the little tag I knew it was perfect (I was struggling with how to put that saying on the front and this sketch made it so easy!) I used a die cut from Miss Kate Cuttables (I took out one of the green layers and bubbles). I used MOJO Monday Sketch #468 for my inspiration.
CHALLENGES:
1) October Inspirational Card Challenge – Photo inspiration category – use the photo to inspire…went with Halloween, witch theme.
SUPPLIES:
Digital SVG File (it also comes as JPG) – Witch Cauldron @ Miss Kate Cuttables

Patterned Paper: Leftover Halloween in scrap drawer

Deedee’s Digis is sponsoring the Clear it Out Challenge which is Halloween (or use Black and Orange). I went with the Halloween theme but in the end used black and orange only so I did both without even trying! This card is for one of the guys at work to give his mom as they are big Basset Hound lovers so I was super excited when I saw this image.
