Mother strength and dignity

I made this for a guy at work for his mother. She just happens to be a customer of mine so I love making cards for her. One of her favorite flowers is the purple Iris so that is what I used. He picked out this verse for the front of the card. I used sketch #3 of the May Card Sketch Challenge as my inspiration.

Cards for friends

One of the couples in them marriage group is going to move so the wife can go to Christian college for a year and then one of the ladies is having a hysterectomy on Tuesday so we wanted to make them cards.

We weren’t sure what to do with the hysterectomy card but she is a HUGE Dr. Who fan so in joking around my husband and I mixed Dr. Who and Dr. Seuss together and came up with this card. My husband drew/designed everything so all I did was cut it out and glue it onto a card base.

Job 38:7

Word Art Wednesday’s scripture this week focused was Job 38:7. There were two different word files for FREE but you didn’t have to use them to play along in their Anything Goes challenge. I decided the verse would go perfectly with the angel digital stamp my husband drew for me. I made this card for my friend who loves angels. I didn’t get a Christmas card made for her this year so decided to just send a “hello” card to her just Because! No special holiday needed.

Angels sang
