Vikings Girl Baby Card

A friend at work ordered a Vikings Themed Baby Card for a guy she works with that is having a baby girl. I found this image on the internet and thought it was perfect. I cut it out and popped dotted it.

I used MFTWSC244 as my inspiration which is Sketch #1 at the September Card Sketch Challenge on Scrapbook.com.

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock: Bazzill

I then realized I made this card in 2016 and forgot to post it. This is another card I made for a guy I worked with that year. He had a baby boy and they did his room in Alabama Crimson  Tide.

Alabama Onsie

I used a cut file for the onsie but I can’t remember which one.

Farm Baby Congratulations

Inside: It’s a Boy! Congratulations

One of the guys I worked with last year just had his first baby so I wanted to make him a congratulations card. From what I could get out of him is that his wife was doing a vintage farm theme…well that’s how I interpreted it! So I went through my files and searched the internet and thought Farm Critters and Barn from Doodle Pantry fit the theme. I was stumped at first as what to do with the image because I just didn’t want to print it out and stick it on the card. So I went back to the internet where I found this awesome card on The Rubber Cafe Design Team Blog. The design it was the perfect design for all the elements I wanted on the card. My best friend, Stephanie, took my ideals and made the cute saying!

Sweet Baby Boy

I made three cards for my old boss to choose from…this is one of them. I was inspired by this card
http://sylvia-anne-poppyspapercraftpatch.blogspot.com/2014/03/sweet-baby-girl-at-atcas.html
I don’t do white space well so I decided to have a colored background that matched by alphabet stickers!! I used the Hammer Embossing Technique. The blue one wasn’t done well because it was my first try…I learned you do have to hit pretty hard.

I also made this in pink since I had pink stickers just like the blue… and I made 2 in each color since I did one in all caps and the other in all lower case.

Boy Congratulations

So my ex-boss asked me to make a baby boy card for one of his current employees. So this is one of 3 cards I made for him to choose from….he picked this one!

I’m sure I’m the only one that still HAS this paper! It was perfect for the sketch Karen used in the July Inspirational Card Challenge – Sketch Category. The patterned paper was punch in squares to get the images.

Here is my last card as the Guest DT member for Deedee’s Digis! What a month it has been! I have so enjoyed working with the stamps but more importantly I have gained a closer relationship to my friend, Deedee. I have enjoyed talking to her about events in her life and mine….I just got promoted at my job!! In all of this God has led me to use my organizational skills to help Deedee with her business by becoming the Sponsorship Coordinator for Deedee’s Digis!  So I get to stay on her team!! It is hard running a business and family all by yourself…so I see it as a win/win for both of us.  I won’t be creating on a regular schedule but you know I will be using these adorable images any chance I get.  Hopefully you will come play with us in some of the challenges Deedee’s Digis sponsors and you will have a chance of winning a $10.00 gift code to the store!!
