Vibrant Funny Friend

I had a birthday order that was Christian theme, likes yellow and bright colors. So I found a Christian saying that the lady liked and then set out to make the card. I was struggling so I went to My Princess-peaces’ gallery as she is the “lift” category of the March Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com. I lifted this card.

Since there is more bling on this card then I usually use I’m going to enter this one into the Product category – bling, shine, etc. I lifted another one of her cards that I will enter into that category.

Cardstock: Bazzill (cinder, lemonade)

Paris

Inside: Celebrate in Style! Happy 11th Birthday!!

I made this card for my niece, Kailee, who turned 11 on Thursday. We celebrated her birthday today since she was in town. They just moved so she is doing her room in Paris (pink and black) so that is what inspired the card…that and the cute dress form from Diane’s Daydream Designs! The Paris Subway art was free at Tip Junkie. I used Sketch Saturday #321 as my inspiration.

Everything but the gray cardstock was from my scrap drawers!!

1) Seize the Birthday – Make a Birthday Card and use the topping (Yellow) if you want. I chose not to use the topping this time!

2) August Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – Theme – Birthday

I conquered a CAS sketch!!

One of the older gentleman at church asked me to make a wedding card for a young couple at the church that is getting married this week. I found out their colors are blush and gray. Karen is hosting October Card Sketch Challenge and she usually throws in a CAS sketch that just stumps me. I’m soooo not a CAS person. Well, I was not going to let the sketch get the best of me!! This is sooo funny but I was so happy that I conquered this sketch….I love the outcome!! Thank you Karen for pushing me out of my comfort zone (I like to give you crap but I’m truly grateful!).
