One of the mother’s day cards I made. I gave one to a friend that lost one of her sons last year. I found this sketch and it worked perfect for two cards I made this month. I used an embossing folder which was part of the technique category of the May 2019 Inspirational Card Challenge.
I have a standing order for cactus/southwest Mother’s Day card for one of the guys at work. So I bought some cactus dies and this is what I came up with. Used the same sketch I did for the rose card but did it a little different. That’s what I love about sketches….can make so many different types of cards from one sketch. I used an embossing folder to make the background which was the technique category of the May Card Challenge.

These were last years Mother’s Day cards with a cactus. The guy at work got one for his mom, which is a standing order to have a cactus/southwest Mother’s Day card. And then another lady wanted a cactus card for her daughter and daughter-in-laws.
