Baseball baby cards

There seems to be a lot of people having babies so I have several request for baby cards.

A lady asked for a “Congratulations on becoming a Grandma” card that was to have a baseball/cardinal theme. But has now turned into more of a birthday card for grandma. I have sent her the 3 cards but not sure email is cooperating so I’m going to post them here so she can see them and pick which one she likes best. Then we will work out the wording.

Graduation Cap

I have the best husband EVER!! I have several graduation cards to make for church and I love graduation stamps BUT the problem lies in that I’m not good coloring with black (well most colors but for sure black!). So I batted my eyelashes and asked my husband who is VERY GOOD with photoshop if he could color the cap in for me. He asked how I wanted it and I told him and showed him a picture of the wonderful cards the ladies had made for samples with this image. He colored this cap in to look like it was water colored!!! Is that not AWESOME or what!!! I’m truly spoiled….don’t tell him though….it will be our secret!! I got the design for the card from the sketch above so all I had to do was pick out papers! Got to love that!

It has been a long day for me so I think I’m going to go crash on my pillow.

Our local scrapbook store had a sale after Christmas which lasted 3 days. I found paper that had all sorts of animals on it and thought they would make cute baby cards. Digital Stamp Day at Clear Dollar Stamps!

Yep, it is the 15th of the month so it is time to release some really cute images that I’m sure you will love as much as I do!

For my first card I used Tulip Wreath Digital Image

As soon as I saw the stamp my head started swarming with all the different card ideals I could do with this. I actually have another one I would like to try soon if I could ever find the time. This card was inspired by Laura Bassen at CASE Study Challenge….. check out her amazing inspirational piece that was the focus of Challenge #80. This was also HEAVILY inspired by my friend Stephanie!! I’m so glad God brought us together. She challenges me and inspires me ALL the time and she still isn’t tired of me yet!! Thanks Stephanie!!

You can’t tell but the flowers are pop dotted off the white cardstock to give them more dimension in real life!

My second card I used Friend in Need Digital Image

I decided to make this a Congratulations type of card. The inside sentiment is “Follow Your Dreams (they know the way)” which I got from Ginger’s House (Jan 6, 2012 post) I love her word art and she also cracks me up with her funny stories! She has the gift of writing that is for sure. Check it out….and if you want a funny store read the March 12, 2012 entry but I must warn you it WILL CAUSE YOU TO LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!

I was struggling with a design for the card. So I went to Splitcoast Stampers and found the perfect inspiration at  bmbfield gallery  Check it out super cute card! Thanks for the inspiration.

There is a TON of CUTE releases so check them out at Clear Dollar Stamps!
