Lake Cabin Card

Lake Cabin

I have a customer that lives in a lake house so I made this card for her to give her husband for Father’s Day. I used the Cabin SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables.

SUPPLIES:
SVG File: Miss Kate Cuttable SVG File (cabin)
Cardstock: Bazzill (Ivy, parakeet, Java, sea water, Bazzill Blue, smoky)
Accents/Tools: Gina Marie Designs Dies (stitched sky die set), Joy Crafts Die (clouds), xyron x, Xyron 510, EK Success pop dots

Bear - fishing scene

I made a lake cabin card scene (see above) and had extra supplies out on the desk from it. I then got an order from a lady that wanted her granddaughter (1 yoa) to give her uncle (17 yoa) a card for “uncle’s day”. He is a big fishermen and I know will teach her how to fish. So I had a bear left over and decided to pair him up with the lake scene. I thought it worked for a kid to give to an uncle. Stamping is not my thing but since I bought the set I thought I would use. The lady and her son “uncle” loved it!

Cow Fathers Day

So one of the girls at work needed 3 Father’s Day Cards. This dad she said like cows and was a farmer so I said I can do that! When trying to figure how to make it Father’s Day card my husband came up with the inside sentiment “Milk it for all it’s worth!” I loved the saying and so did the lady at work.

I think I might make this into a birthday card by tying balloons to it’s tail!

I found Team Dad by Echo Park at my local scrapbooking store and thought it would be perfect for several cards. I ended up messing up one of the cards so I cut the grill out of it so I could pop dot it on top of the original image.

My Father-in-law in an amazing wood worker. He made us Jewelry box that is Amazing and most the furniture in his house is made by him. His back doesn’t allow him to do much anymore but when he does I am in awe of his creations. This runs in the family as my husband is also good in making things. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my garage but give my husband a creative space! So when I saw Tool Time at Diane’s Daydream Designs I knew they would make the perfect Father’s Day card.

Doodle Pantry Rocks Fathers Day Cards

This year Doodle Pantry seemed to have the images that were being requested for Father’s Day. So I have made several Father’s Day Cards with Doodle Pantry Images…Thanks Laurie for having such awesome images!

Crazy Uncle

Crazy Uncle Inside

OMG!! I love love how this came out! This is one of my favorite cards I have made.

A friend at work has a son on the school fishing team. Her husband and another man help the coach. The boys call them the crazy uncles so she wanted a card for them. I showed her the awesome images from Doodle Pantry and she asked that the fish be on the outside and the reel on the inside. She wanted “crazy uncle” on the card. So I called up my bestest friend who rocks sentiments and told her what was requested. She came up with this saying….she so needs to apply for Hallmark!!

The sketch came from Tuesday Morning Sketches #253….I just flipped it so it looks like the fish is jumping for a hook (my friends ideal!). My husband wanted the bobber to look real with the two colors instead of a solid color…I just made it orange instead of red! So glad he requested it cause I love it! The bubbles came because I was going to do a punched border instead of the orange strips but didn’t like it. I had all these circles laying around and love the look it gave it! I cut out a 2nd fish and popped it up so it really looks like it is jumping out of the water.
