Mother’s Day Cards 2022

I need to be better about posting my cards so I might as well start with the Mother’s Day cards I made for this year. I haven’t been posting because I haven’t had time to list all the supplies that go with them. But I’m going to try to post them and add to the supplies as I have time. If there is something I used you want to know more about just ask me in the comments and I’ll let you know.

So this was for all the cowboy/Texan mom’s out there! I made a card with this image years ago called Cowgirl Flowers but decided to make a new version this year for some new customers that wanted this theme for their Mother’s Day card.

Daisy pinstripe

I made this card for a birthday girl that likes purple and flowers. It’s a shade of purple and I think she will like it. I saw this image over at Miss Kate Cuttables and thought it would be perfect with the sketch on the Inspirational Card Challenge at Scrapbook.com. And this is what I came up with!

SUPPLIES:
Digital Stamp: Daisies @ Miss Kate Cuttables
Cardstock: Bazzill (parakeet, white), American Crafts (blossom)
Patterned Paper: TaDa Creative Sudios (Sweet ‘n Treats)
Inks: pre-colored digital stamp printed on a Canon Inkjet Printer
Accents/Tools: Fiskars scallop edge punch, Queen & Co epoxy dots (orange), EK success 1/16 pop dots

Daisy Cowboy Boots

One of the girls at work has had me make cards for her husband, family, friends, etc. So when her husband contacted me asking me to make her a birthday card I thought that was so sweet. He told me Gerber Daisies, horses, and cowgirl stuff were her favorite. I also knew that purple was her favorite color so this is what I came up with. I used Home on the Range and Bouquet of Daisies from Diane’s Daydream Designs. My husband merged the two items in photoshop for me. I colored the flowers in photoshop (just using the paint bucket because I have NO photoshop skills!! That is why I have to bat my eyelashes at my husband when I need photoshop help!!) and then used the pre-colored digital image for the boots. I can’t remember what sketch I used because I have been organizing them so they have all been rearranged…but if I figure it out I will add it.
