Sending Sunshine

Inside: Sending sunny thoughts to brighten your day!

I’m part of an Angel Swap where we receive a name and we send the recipient a card. This is for a lady that recently bought house and has been fixing it up. Just had surgery on her foot and is wearing a boot. And could just use some happy mail!

I had been wanting to use this cottage from Beccy’s Place and knew it would be perfect since she just bought a house. I printed out a second copy and cut out the two flowers bushes in front an the vine over the door so I could pop dot them and give them dimension. I used an older sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #199.

CHALLENGES:
1) March Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – favorite category – Recreate a card or sketch you’ve saved in your favorites either on this site, a blog, or Pinterest.
2) Beccy’s Place March Challenge – Create a card or paper-craft project using any Beccy’s Place image, upload a photo of it to your blog and submit a direct link to the challenge thread.

Gingerbread House

This was such a fun challenges for me because it was different! I’m not sure I have seen a Christmas Challenge before that required a “house” on the project. Which I have bought paper in the past to make a Christmas cards with a home on it but STILL haven’t made them. This one I made unexpected when a friend came over to “play” for a couple hours. She brought over a cute 6 x 6 paper pad and asked if I would want to make a card using some of the paper. This card came to me very quickly which doesn’t always happen so I was very excited. I cut up enough pieces so she could make one too!  Thanks Judy for the paper!!

I hope you will take the challenge of having a “home” on your Christmas project and play with us at For Fun Challenges!!
