CHALLENGE: Imagine That Digi Stamp - 8th Birthday - 1st week challenge - Ribbons and/or Bows. Well I got ribbon and that was a challenge. I have a ton of ribbon but don't always use it and when you tell me I should use then none of the cards turn out or I can't find an image that goes with ribbon or bows! But I'm happy with how this turned out. I needed it for an order that I have to deliver today!
I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch #584 which was the sketch category of Jan 2021 Inspirational Card Challenge.

So I had a lady contact me and asked if I could make simple or mini cards for her to send to her nieces and nephews (ages 4-12) to brighten their day! Of course! I love happy mail and that is why I host the Happy Mail Challenge. Ro (Rolbricht) makes mini cards and I always thought I wanted to do that too! So I bought envelopes a long time ago. I never got around to making them until now! So thank you Ro for the inspiration. Here is my first go at mini cards.
Card 1 (blue penguin) – inside “have a great day”
Card 2 (dino) – inside “Keep being Roar-Some!”
Card 3 (panda) – inside “You’re Pantastic!

I had two birthday cards to make. One for a pilot and one for a guy who likes to fly remote controlled planes. So I used a digital stamp that I had and cut off one of the birthday messages to make it work for my design. The pilot lives where it is cold so I put snow on the mountains for his and left it off for the one that lives in Florida.

I had an order for a lady that works in NY but has a cabin she lives in when not working. She loves to go to cabin and enjoy nature. So when I found The Great Outdoors Kit (or cheaper version is Camping Kids) at Imagine That Digi Shop I knew it would be perfect. I added an extra tree to my scene. Pop dotted the fire wood stack, chair and the knobs sticking out on the actually cabin to make it feel more real. I still haven’t quiet figured out how to make my grass longer than the die without leaving that little mark…if you know the secret please do tell. The lady loved it and has it displayed on her work desk to reminder her of “cabin life”.

So I swept the garage so the Easter Bunny could bring you a new tool!
While my husband was gone last week I decided to clean out the garage as a surprise for him. I wanted to make him a card to sit on his bench so he would get it when he walked into the garage. So I had ideals but when Karen posted the April Inspirational Card Challenge – bonus category – Clean… the cleaning images at Imagine That Digital Stamps came to mind. I told my girlfriend what my thoughts were for the saying and she put it together and made it sound good. He not only liked the garage but he said he also liked the card!
So while I was getting ideals I saw some funny house cleaning sayings so I decided to use the rest of my scraps and make some funny cards with this design. See attached cards.

I won a whole set of digital stamps in February from Imagine That Digital Stamps and this was one of the images from the Beary in Love Kit. I fussy cut out the flowers and added real pearls on top of the digital ones.

As soon as I saw this image in Dec at Imagine That Digi Stamps I had to have it. In 2002 my husband and I went to Exotic Animal Paradise in our jeep without the doors and top on. We had a blast…so did the animals! A Llama came up to my husbands side and started rubbing his head on my husband’s chest and trying to snuggle up to my husband. It was sooo cute! So I called it Llama Love! So I thought this image would make a perfect Valentine’s card for my hubby! I used this weeks MOJO Monday #484 sketch as my inspiration. I realize now I left off the horizontal strip but I think you can still tell it was inspired by the sketch.

This is another card the lady at work wanted. This one is for her granddaughter (almost 1) to give to her mom (the ladies daughter). She wanted a pig with this saying:
Love you little!
Love you BIG!
Love you just like a little PIG!!
Happy Valentine’s Day
(the ladies MIL use to say this to her daughter…so a family saying)
I put the saying inside the card and used this cute pig from Imagine That! Digi Stamp on the front. All the paper came from my scrap drawers! Yep, I have way to many scraps!!!I used Atlantic Hearts Sketch #198 for my inspiration.
