Things that fly

So the theme of the December Inspirational Card Challenge at Scrapbook.com was Things that Fly. Here are two cards I made.

Unicorn Magical Birthday

I had a request for a 7th birthday party with the theme of unicorns and rainbows. She sent me this card as an ideal of what she liked. The original card has rainbow lines behind the unicorn that reminded me of the paint splatter stamps that TexasMomOf4 always used so I had to buy some! So I finally got them out after having the stamps over a year! I found the unicorn digital stamp at Huckleberry Hearts. I used sketch #2 from November Card Sketch Challenge. Original sketch found at Taylored Expressions.

Mothers Day Grizzell

One of the men I work with has 4 kids and he likes them to be represented on his Mother’s Day card to his wife. This year I went with butterflies. He has 2 girls and 2 boys and the girls are older…hopefully you can tell from the butterflies! I used Atlantic Heart Sketch #208 as my inspiration. The color combo I got from a color swatch at In Color Balance…I found a pin of it at https://www.pinterest.com/pin/309763280608472542/
