Owl Valentine

Inside: YOU! That’s whooo-whooo! Happy Valentine’s Day

A lady at work requested 2 valentine cards one with an owl and one with a panda. So I used Owl my Love Digital image from Deedee’s Digis which is no longer in business (darn life gets in the way!). I used a sketch posted at Scrapbook.com in the Feb Card Sketch Challenge. Again everything came from the scrap drawers except for the brown card base.

2) Feb Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – Photo Inspirational – went with the valentine theme.

3) Digitally Sweet Challenges #147 – spots and stripes. Can only see a few spots but they are on the circle patterned paper.

Patterned Paper: Rusty Pickle

Thanksgiving Secret Pal

This card was inspired by the November Card Challenge I’m hosting on Scrapbook.com and the fact that I needed to make a lady a Happy Thanksgiving card for her Secret Pal. The Card Challenge has different categories and one of them is a Color category. The colors for November were Orange, Brown and Green so I was super excited to find this image, Autumn Critters, at Doodle Pantry. When I saw the sketch at Sketch Saturday #284 I thought it was perfect….I just turned it vertical.

CHALLENGES:

4) Kitty Bee Designs Challenge #12 – Fall Colors

5) Creative Inspirations Challenge #241 – Thanksgiving – Thank you

I know I’m a couple days late. Life was not letting me craft. But I finally was able to sneak in my craft room today. I totally slacked and didn’t get 3 done last time so I have 5 more to make these 3 weeks to get my calendar finished. But I will say I’m farther along then I would have been if I wasn’t hosting this challenge.

Clear Dollar Stamps is sponsoring the challenge this week at Twist of Faith Card Challenge so they let me play along as a guest!! Thank you ladies!! I had so much fun making this card and I even used my brand new fence punch! I even used one of the newer stamps Hoot Hoots that I hadn’t had a chance to play with yet! Since I used the owl image I was able to play along with 2 Sisters Challenge Blog which challenged us to use “Things with Wings”.  I used the sketch from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge #84.

I love that Twist of Faith Card Challenge is a Christian Challenge that bases the challenges on scripture. I did not add a scripture to the card yet because I usually do that depending on who I’m sending it to. I try to pray and send the scripture that God wants in the card.

I hope you will join along and play with the ladies at Twist of Faith Card Challenge and you just might win a $15 gift voucher at Clear Dollar Stamps.
