Heart Banner Card

I needed some anniversary cards for an order. As I was looking for stuff for the March Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com I came across a sketch with a card that I really liked so I lifted it. The original sketch was a Fusion Card Sketch but I lifted a DT members card. I like how she used plaids but I added more colors as I don't do white on white well. I then wanted to see what it would look like with polka dots. I made them in different colors too but these are the two she picked.

Last Christmas Cards for 2017!

My last Christmas Order wasn’t due until Jan 12th so I was able to work on them the beginning of the month.

Panda Christmas

I couldn’t find Christmas Panda images that fit in my cuteness category….I’m probably going to have to break down and buy some clear stamps! So I just saw some Panda stickers in my stash the other day so I thought I would look at them and see if I could make them into a Christmas Card. Well this card design just came to me so I went with it. I was pretty excited how it turned out!

Christmas Daughter - Margie
This was the card for the lady’s daughter. She wanted a card that told her what a wonderful daughter she was. When I bought the paper in Branson and it had all these cute photo cards she picked one for SIL (see previous card) and one for her daughter. I used Jan Card Sketch #1 as my inspiration. I just moved the paper over to the left because I wanted more of it to show and added epoxy dots instead of a sentiment.

Grandpa Gold in his heart
A lady requested this quote for her grandpa's birthday. It was a good thing that my local scrapbook store found some very old BasicGrey papers in their storage room. They had one sheet of this so I picked it up along with some others. Good thing I did because it was perfect for this saying....at least I thought so!
I used Freshly Made Sketches 276 as my inspiration.

Plaid Snowman w-stickles

My Christmas stash is gone so needed to make some Christmas cards. When I saw this FREE image I thought it would make super cute cards and I have a friend that would love it! And I think my step-MIL will like this one too! One of my regulars needed a card for a friend of his and he didn’t have anything in mind. So I thought this would work. I sent him a photo and his response was “can I have that one for my mom instead!” He said she loves Cardinals. So then I had to think of another card for his friend (see button Christmas tree). I added stickles to the snowflakes and snow mounds but the snowflake sparkle didn’t show up very well. I used this card from Taylored Expressions as my inspiration.

Patterned Paper: The Paper Studio (Plaid Tidings)
