Palm Tree Beach Birthday

So I made a card similar to this one last year (see below) …but forgot to post it! But a lady requested a palm tree/beach card for her nephew. This version is different because I used a new sun die I recently got (instead of part of a circle) and made the sand bigger on this one. I made the letters the same color as the sand in hopes it looks like it was drawn in the sand!

CHALLENGES:
1) April Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – theme – weather. Not sure if this is what Karen had in mind but it is SUNNY WEATHER on this card! (so wish I was there!)

SUPPLIES:

Sun metal die: Stitched Sky Dies – Gina Marie Designs @ Scrapbook Outlet
Cardstock: Bazzill (kraft)
Accents/Tools: Cricut, Cuttin’ Up Cricut Cartridge, Xyron X

Xbox Minecraft birthday

So I had a request for a masculine birthday card that was Xbox/Minecraft themed. This is what I came up with. I found the minecraft background and printed on Bazzill white. Then I used the SVG file at Bird’s Cards to make the controller. It was a big hit with the birthday boy!

My neighbor/friend’s daughter is graduating college on Saturday. I helped my friend make the banner that will hang in their house for the get together. These are the colors we used (except the blue was a little bit brighter..I grabbed the lighter shade and didn’t realize it!) so I decided to make the card out of the same colors.

This is what I have been making recently.

Hoppy Easter

This is the craft we did yesterday at the retirement home. They loved it! This is an SVG file, Easter Bunnies, that I made big and then added the sign the on the bottom.

Bringing you lots of wishes for a joyful season! Happy Easter

Hoppy Easter

When I was trying to come up with a card to make at the retirement home I started with these two. The bottom one I just couldn’t get…I think this is the 5th version of it and I finally like it!  The Easter Bonnet chick I think will say “Happy Easter to my favorite chick”. I really liked it a couple nights ago when I made it but now not so sure. So who knows there might be another version soon!
