A lady contacted me and stated she was going to buy her kids seasons passes to Wonders of Wildlife (Bass Pro) but didn’t have any cool way to present it to the kids. She said she was disappointed that Bass Pro didn’t have any cards to do this. So she requested one from me! She wanted it to be from Santa to the kids. I came up with the ideal of Santa checking his list and finding out the family was nice so he would give them a season pass. So I sent the ideal to my girlfriend who is amazing with coming up with sentiments.
On the inside I printed off a photo of W.O.W. and made it a pocket so the season pass would go on a tag that could be pulled out.
So I was telling my massage therapist about this card and he said oh make me one I want to take it my friend that works at Bass Pro. So who know maybe Bass Pro will “copy” my ideal!
While I was looking for images on the internet I came across this digital stamp/svg file at Scarlett Rose Designs and thought it would be perfect for the envelope to put the card in. I printed their names on the front.

I had a request for a guitar themed Christmas card. I found this SVG/digital stamp file. The original has the “as” partial on the guitar. Any way the way the guitar was in my cutting program there were way to many little pieces. So I asked my husband to separate guitar so I could just print it as one piece and add it to the cut out letters. Since all those letters were cut on the cricut I only made one card. If I can figure out how to do differently I make more!

I had a request for a soccer themed Father’s Day card. I used the Sketch from the June Inspirational Card Challenge as my inspiration. The soccer ball is an svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables. Original sketch is from MOJO Monday #498.

So I made a card similar to this one last year (see below) …but forgot to post it! But a lady requested a palm tree/beach card for her nephew. This version is different because I used a new sun die I recently got (instead of part of a circle) and made the sand bigger on this one. I made the letters the same color as the sand in hopes it looks like it was drawn in the sand!

One of the nurses asked for a birthday card for her husband that is starting a bee-hive so she wanted bee related. This is what I came up with! Hope she likes one on them.
and a few Doodle Pantry stamps then you will be ready for Valentine’s Day!! Which is not far away since it is January 1, 2014!!! Happy New Year!!
Today is first Doodle Pantry release of 2014!! I got to work with 2 digital image sets this month.
First up is Kissy Lips. I made two cards that are similar because I couldn’t decide what I liked better!
I used MOJO Monday 325 sketch for my inspiration. I also decided to to make them shiny by putting Glossy Accents on them. They went from dull to shiny just like real lips when you add gloss or lipstick to them!
The second card I made used an SVG file – Hearts Galore and a re-release of Loving Critters Digital Image (use to be a Clearly Digi Stamp). The cool thing about the Heart Galore SVG file is that it also come with JPEG and PNG images too. And to make it even sweeter Laurie is offering Free with purchase between Jan 1-9th.
Inside: Happy Valentine’s Day!
This is the second card I made using the sketch below. This time I stayed pretty true to the sketch.
CHALLENGE:
1) Day 362 @ 365 Cards – Playing with Sharp Objects. For this challenge, we want to see you use at least 2 “sharp” tools to create your card. I used Cutterbee Scissors and an Xacto knife (cut out inside of the lambs legs)
I know I’m a couple days late. Life was not letting me craft. But I finally was able to sneak in my craft room today. I totally slacked and didn’t get 3 done last time so I have 5 more to make these 3 weeks to get my calendar finished. But I will say I’m farther along then I would have been if I wasn’t hosting this challenge.
When I saw these cute SVG files from Clearly Digi Stamps (Clear Dollar Stamps) it made me think of mats and design elements for Scrapbook pages. Of course I had to make cards with it to but I’m going to show off my page first since this is like the SECOND page I made this year!
The blue strips with words have a scallop edge which was cut with the Scallop Edge SVG File.
This is our friends daughter that I have adopted as my niece! This was her this past Easter at Church. Her mom rocks and makes these cute clothes for her and headbands. This girl loves a tutu!
