Mother’s Day Flamingo

Flamingo Mother's Day

I have to do a flamingo card for a co-workers grandmother every year. This is her 2019 Mother’s Day card. I had to use less lighting for the photo to show the 3 embossed lines on the left. Used sketch #5 from the April Card Sketch Challenge. I made the card horizontal instead of vertical. Also for the April Inspirational Card Challenge – bonus – mother’s Day.

SUPPLIES:
Digital Image: Endless Summer from Digi Web Studio (no longer available)
Cardstock: Bazzill (Flamingo, Lagoon)
Accents/Tools: Kaiserscrapbook rhinestone (island lagoon), Stampin Up (Seaside embossing folder), scor-pal

Flamingo Mothers Day

I realized I did not post any of my Mother’s Day cards for 2018. This was the grandmother’s 2018 Mother’s Day Card. I cut an extra flower spray and pop dotted it on top of the flamingo for dimension.

SUPPLIES:

Digital Image: Aloha Floral @ https://www.etsy.com/shop/YenzArtHaut

Cardstock: Bazzill (Berry Sensation, White), American Crafts (butterscotch)

Accents/Tools: 1/16 EK Success pop dots, Martha Stewart Edge punch

Surfboard

I had an order for a adult male birthday. One of his hobbies is surfing so I went with that! I thought this tropical scene surfboard from Imagine That Digi Stamp would work perfectly for a masculine card. I used MOJO Monday Sketch #497 for my inspiration.

Palm Tree Beach Birthday

So I made a card similar to this one last year (see below) …but forgot to post it! But a lady requested a palm tree/beach card for her nephew. This version is different because I used a new sun die I recently got (instead of part of a circle) and made the sand bigger on this one. I made the letters the same color as the sand in hopes it looks like it was drawn in the sand!

CHALLENGES:
1) April Inspirational Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – theme – weather. Not sure if this is what Karen had in mind but it is SUNNY WEATHER on this card! (so wish I was there!)

SUPPLIES:
SVG file: Palm Tree @ Miss Kate Cuttables
Sun metal die: Stitched Sky Dies – Gina Marie Designs @ Scrapbook Outlet
Cardstock: Bazzill (kraft)
Accents/Tools: Cricut, Cuttin’ Up Cricut Cartridge, Xyron X

Happy Birthday Palm Tree Scene
