So I had a lady contact me and asked if I could make simple or mini cards for her to send to her nieces and nephews (ages 4-12) to brighten their day! Of course! I love happy mail and that is why I host the Happy Mail Challenge. Ro (Rolbricht) makes mini cards and I always thought I wanted to do that too! So I bought envelopes a long time ago. I never got around to making them until now! So thank you Ro for the inspiration. Here is my first go at mini cards.
Card 1 (blue penguin) – inside “have a great day”
Card 2 (dino) – inside “Keep being Roar-Some!”
Card 3 (panda) – inside “You’re Pantastic!

My last Christmas Order wasn’t due until Jan 12th so I was able to work on them the beginning of the month.
I couldn’t find Christmas Panda images that fit in my cuteness category….I’m probably going to have to break down and buy some clear stamps! So I just saw some Panda stickers in my stash the other day so I thought I would look at them and see if I could make them into a Christmas Card. Well this card design just came to me so I went with it. I was pretty excited how it turned out!
Thank you Trek for my Tim Holtz christmas word dies!!

When I bought the paper in Branson and it had all these cute photo cards she picked one for SIL (see previous card) and one for her daughter. I used Jan Card Sketch #1 as my inspiration. I just moved the paper over to the left because I wanted more of it to show and added epoxy dots instead of a sentiment. My Christmas stash is gone so needed to make some Christmas cards. When I saw this FREE image I thought it would make super cute cards and I have a friend that would love it! And I think my step-MIL will like this one too! One of my regulars needed a card for a friend of his and he didn’t have anything in mind. So I thought this would work. I sent him a photo and his response was “can I have that one for my mom instead!” He said she loves Cardinals. So then I had to think of another card for his friend (see button Christmas tree). I added stickles to the snowflakes and snow mounds but the snowflake sparkle didn’t show up very well. I used this card from Taylored Expressions as my inspiration.

I had an order for a 23rd Wedding Anniversary card that was in December. The card was for her daughter and at the wedding they used her grandmother’s crystal/gold glasses for the toast….so that was my inspiration for the card.
Okay here is the finished product without any errors (well at least noticeable to me!)
So of course this was done at the last minute for the monthly challenge at From the Heart Stamps…not planned. I was actually not going to worry about it and just buy next months image but I saw a sketch on a challenge at scrapbook.com and thought it would work perfect and could be done quickly. Well, nothing goes quickly or smoothly when you are tired and have an hour before a challenge ends! I do like the finished product though and plan on making it in several different colors and patterned paper. I’m going through my scraps and if it would look cute paper pieced I’m making it. Need to use up supplies this year!!
When I saw Vivian Lake’s card that is for the “lift” category in the Feb Inspirational Card Challenge I figured I had a digital stamp or SVG that I could use. But then I thought I bet I have 3- dimensional stickers that would work. I didn’t even get to the sticker binders before I found these in the cabinet laying next to the binders. While looking for paper I remember the challenge at Jingle Belles Christmas Challenge is to you lots lot of text. Well I know it is the same word over and over but when I saw it I thought it looked good and worked for the challenge. I embossed snowflakes on the white piece that look just like the ones on the blue piece.

So a lady at work saw the princess birthday card I did and wanted a valentine one for her nieces. So I kept design same but placed a heart in the middle…tried to make it look like they were holding it. This is the last of the princess dies in the package so will have to make Christmas cards with the rest of the dies.
This is the Jan Digi of the Month at From the Heart Stamps. If you make a card with this image you get a free image next month…and they are cute images!! I thought this image would be perfect to use with the colors in the Jan Card Challenge- Color Category so I sent my husband the image and the colors and he colored this in photoshop for me!! I’m so spoiled! Then I couldn’t decide what kind of card I wanted to make with this image. I saw the sketch on the Cardmakers Card Challenge and the ideal of snowflakes came to mind so I went with a Christmas card which is good because my goal is to make 1-3 Christmas cards a month.
I promise that is Berrylicious (pink family) and not a red on there!
One of my regular customers has a grandson that loves anything cowboys, rodeo, horses, etc so I try to make him a Christmas card in one of those themes each year. Since she isn’t celebrating with them for a couple weeks I didn’t have to have the cards made till now. So this is what I came up after my husband colored (in Photoshop) in this retired digi that is no longer available.
Inside: Wishing you a Christmas Day filled with everything that makes you smile!
Sorry about the lighting still trying to figure out my new camera!
One of my Christmas orders wasn’t celebrating Christmas till January so she let me put her order on hold till after Christmas…which I was very thankful for. One of the request was a Frozen Christmas Card. I bought some paper and embellishments in November because I knew I had some “Frozen” orders coming up and they worked perfectly for this Christmas Card.
While posting this card I realized I forgot to post the Winter Themed birthday card I made on Nov 30th using these same products so I’m posting it now!
