Finally a post!

I have been studying for a promotion at work for the past 3-4 months so I only crafted orders that had to be done. I didn’t even have time to post them. So I hope to do that as life is finally calming down and going back to normal.

I made a birthday card for a dear friend of mine. I’m late on making it and sending it as time has not been on my side. Better late then never…I did text her on her birthday so I didn’t forget! I showed it to a customer and he ordered one for a friend of his that loves to garden.

I used Stella Says Sketch Challenge #510 for my inspiration.

A lady needed a birthday card for someone in their early 20’s so I made a couple up and also showed her ones I had on hand so she could pick. She didn’t pick these but that’s okay because I now have birthday cards on hand!! I was also inspired by the wood stars we found at an estate sale (see attached photo). They were 1/2 off the price they were marked so I got them for .50 cents!! I also got a bag of hearts!! Awesome find!! I had a few pieces of this Around the Block paper and thought it worked perfect with the stars and the sketch at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday sketch #272.

Challenges:
1) June Inspirational Card Challenge – Product Category – wood.

2) Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge #272 – use the sketch provided.

SUPPLIES:
Patterned Paper: Around the Block (Celebrate)
Cardstock: Bazzill (both oranges are retired, yellow – beeswax, sunbeam)
Accents/Tools: Cricut, Basic George Cricut Cartridge, embossing folder, scor-tape, xyron-X sticker maker
